Mark Sutton
Senior Pastor
Mark is our Senior Pastor. He trained at Moore Theological College and ministered in several Anglican Churches in the Armidale Diocese, as well as Bathurst Community Church before becoming pastor of BEC in 2012 .
He is married to Rosie, and they have three adult children, all involved in Christian ministry, as well five grandchildren.
Apart from his family and ministry, Mark’s interests are often centred around things with wheels. He is a keen cyclist and would be right into motorsport too if he thought he could justify the expense! He and Rosie have been married since 1980, and have lived in the Blue Mountains, Tamworth, Sydney, Guyra, Barraba, Narrabri and now Bathurst.
Darren Duncanson
Associate Pastor
Darren joined BE Church in November 2021 and enjoys being in the country regions. Before being at BE Church, he was the pastor at Cootamundra Presbyterian church. Darren loves playing board games, going on bushwalks and doing photography when he can find the time.
Darren is married with three young children.
